1. General & Definitions

1.1 Company

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services, bookings and agreements of Lucent Detail, operating in The Netherlands.

1.2 Definitions

Lucent Detail: the service provider.

Customer: any person or entity booking a service.

Vehicle: any vehicle provided by the Customer for treatment.

Service / Treatment: any detailing, paint correction, coating or related work performed by Lucent Detail.

Booking: a confirmed appointment for a Service.

Quote: a non-binding price indication prior to inspection.

Additional work: any work required beyond the original Booking.

Lucent Detail determines the scope and execution of all Services.

1.3 Priority

These Terms & Conditions override all verbal, written or digital communication.

1.4 Changes

The latest version published applies at the time of Booking.


2. Applicability & Acceptance

2.1 Applicability

These Terms & Conditions apply to all offers, quotations, bookings and agreements with Lucent Detail, unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing.

2.2 Acceptance

By booking a Service, requesting a Quote or delivering a Vehicle, the Customer confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

2.3 Binding agreement

An Agreement is considered binding once a Booking is confirmed by Lucent Detail, regardless of the communication channel used.

2.4 No conflicting terms

Any general terms or conditions of the Customer are explicitly excluded.


3. Services & Execution

3.1 Services

Lucent Detail provides professional automotive detailing services, including but not limited to interior detailing, exterior detailing, paint enhancement, paint correction and ceramic coating applications.

3.2 Execution

All Services are performed using professional methods and products. Results depend on the condition, paint type and usage of the Vehicle.

Lucent Detail does not guarantee the complete removal of existing defects, scratches or damage.

3.3 Inspection & condition

Services are based on the Vehicle’s condition at the time of inspection. Additional work may be required if the condition differs from the information provided by the Customer.

3.4 Duration

Estimated service times are indicative and may vary depending on the Vehicle’s condition and scope of work.

3.5 Right of refusal

Lucent Detail reserves the right to refuse or discontinue a Service if execution is not technically feasible or safe.


4. Pricing & Payment

4.1 Pricing

All prices are indicative and based on the Vehicle’s size, condition and the selected Service. Displayed prices are starting prices unless explicitly stated otherwise.

4.2 Quotes

Quotes are non-binding and based on information provided prior to physical inspection. Final pricing may be adjusted after inspection or during execution if additional work is required.

4.3 Additional work

Any additional work will be discussed with the Customer and charged separately.

4.4 Payment

Payment is due immediately after completion of the Service, unless agreed otherwise in writing. Lucent Detail accepts the agreed payment methods.

4.5 Late payment

Lucent Detail reserves the right to suspend or withhold delivery of the Vehicle until full payment has been received.


5. Booking, Cancellation & No-Shows

5.1 Booking

A Booking is confirmed once accepted by Lucent Detail. Lucent Detail reserves the right to reschedule a Booking if necessary.

5.2 Cancellation by Customer

Cancellations must be communicated at least 24 hours before the scheduled Booking. Late cancellations may result in cancellation fees.

5.3 No-shows

If the Customer fails to appear without prior notice, Lucent Detail reserves the right to charge costs or refuse future Bookings.

5.4 Delays

If the Customer arrives late or the Vehicle is not ready at the agreed time, Lucent Detail may shorten, reschedule or cancel the Service.


6. Mobile Services & Vehicle Transfer

6.1 Mobile services

Mobile Services are performed only if the location is deemed suitable by Lucent Detail. The Customer is responsible for providing a safe, accessible and adequate working environment.

If the location is unsuitable, Lucent Detail reserves the right to reschedule, relocate or cancel the Service.

6.2 Access & preparation

The Vehicle must be accessible and ready at the agreed time. Delays or lack of access may result in rescheduling or additional charges.

6.3 Vehicle transfer

Vehicle pick-up and return services are provided only by prior agreement. Lucent Detail is not responsible for pre-existing damage, technical defects or wear that becomes apparent during normal use.

6.4 Risk

Vehicle transfer is carried out with due care. Liability is limited as defined in these Terms & Conditions.


7. Coatings, Warranty & Maintenance

7.1 Coatings

Lucent Detail applies ceramic coatings using professional methods and products. Coatings enhance protection and appearance but do not make a Vehicle damage-proof.

7.2 Indicative durability

Any stated durability or lifespan of a coating is indicative only and depends on usage, maintenance, driving conditions and external influences.

7.3 Warranty

Warranty applies solely to the correct application and adhesion of the coating. Warranty does not cover wear, scratches, stone chips, chemical damage, improper washing or lack of maintenance.

7.4 Maintenance responsibility

Proper maintenance of the Vehicle and coating is the sole responsibility of the Customer. Failure to follow recommended maintenance voids any warranty.

7.5 Corrections

If a coating defect covered under warranty is confirmed, Lucent Detail may, at its discretion, repair or reapply the affected area.


8. Liability & Damage

8.1 Inspection

The Customer must inspect the Vehicle immediately upon completion of the Service. Any visible issues must be reported before the Vehicle leaves the premises.

8.2 Pre-existing condition

Lucent Detail is not liable for pre-existing damage, wear, defects or issues that become visible during or after the Service.

8.3 Limitation of liability

Lucent Detail’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant Service. Lucent Detail is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

8.4 Exclusions

Lucent Detail is not liable for damage caused by normal use, improper maintenance, automatic car washes, environmental factors or third parties.


9. Force Majeure & Complaints

9.1 Force majeure

Lucent Detail is not liable for delays or failure to perform Services due to force majeure, including but not limited to weather conditions, power failures, illness, accidents or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

9.2 Complaints

Complaints must be submitted in writing within a reasonable time after the Service has been completed.

Lucent Detail must be given the opportunity to assess and, if applicable, resolve the complaint before any further action is taken.


10. Applicable Law & Final Provisions

10.1 Applicable law

All agreements and Services provided by Lucent Detail are governed exclusively by Dutch law.

10.2 Jurisdiction

Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in The Netherlands.

10.3 Severability

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

10.4 Final provision

These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between Lucent Detail and the Customer.
